Short version
Octonion Mind Puzzle does not create an account, does not talk to a server, and does not track you. Saved puzzles stay on your device. Audio is generated on the device; the microphone is not used.

Information we do not collect
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. The app has:
- no user accounts or sign-in
- no analytics or crash-reporting SDK
- no advertising
- no tracking (no App Tracking Transparency prompt)
- no network calls for gameplay, saves, or music
- no access to Contacts, Photos, Camera, Location, or Bluetooth
Apple may collect information on its own when you download the app from the App Store (receipts, device compatibility). That is Apple’s policy, not this app.
Information that stays on your device
The app uses Apple’s on-device storage (UserDefaults) for:
- Saved octonions — boards and jianpu voicings you keep in the Library.
- How-to-play flag — whether you have dismissed the first-launch sheet.
This data never leaves the device unless you use iCloud or device backup features provided by Apple. We do not operate a cloud sync service.
Deleting the app deletes this data. There is no server-side copy to erase.
Audio
Playback uses the system audio engine to play tones the app generates (sine, triangle, reed, bell, and similar). The app does not record, does not use the microphone, and does not stream audio from the internet.
Children
The app is a calm puzzle with an expected App Store age rating of 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is no chat and no profile.
Third-party services
None inside the app binary. Hosting this page (GitHub Pages or another host you choose) has its own policy for visitors to the website.
Changes
If a future version of the app starts collecting data, using the microphone, or talking to a server, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
